Lymm May Queen

Event
Lymm May Queen
Event start date
Duration
1 day

This year's May Queen is on Saturday 18th May 2024.

The event will be held solely in the village centre in 2024 due to the state of the May Queen field following the wet autumn and winter (the drought warnings of August 2023 are SO last year!)

The May Queen website is the place to go for the latest updates, schedules and the revised layout for this year.

Expect an incredible event crammed with stalls and activities, though with changes to accommodate the space restrictions.

Expect the village centre to be VERY busy for the procession passing through. Brookfield Road & Eagle Brow usually have more space to view the procession.

The Procession...

...travels in the reverse direction this year!!!

Starting at 12noon, the procession runs through the village centre from Crossfield Avenue, heading towards the Cross along Pepper Street, through the village past Lymm Cross and Lower Dam and leading up Eagle Brow, right onto Brookfield Road and entering the Davies Way car park next to Lymm Library.

Parking

Park & ride options have been arranged, to cover the expected number of visitors and closure of village centre car parks:
